The Insta360 Ace Pro 2 is the latest release from the action cam giant Insta360. With a 1.3” sensor, dual imaging chips, 8K video capabilities, and a Leica lens, this compact camera delivers stunning cinematic-quality footage and captures 50MP photos.
The Ace Pro 2 is waterproof up to 39 ft (12 m), making it great for snorkeling and water sports, though deeper dives will require a housing. With the dive case, the depth rating extends to 197 ft (60 m), allowing you to capture incredible underwater footage just as beautifully as on land.
Packed with a wide range of features, the Ace Pro 2 offers various shooting modes like time lapses, dash cam, slow motion, and star lapses. It also boasts impressive stabilization and excels in low-light conditions.
But how does it work below the surface? We took the Ace Pro 2 scuba diving to see how it compares to other similar underwater action cameras. These included the GoPro13, Insta360 X4, and the new DJI Osmo Action 5.
